She is the Executive Board Legal Advisor for The Mother Connection, Inc., a non-profit organization serving over 500 families in the Merrimack Valley and served on the Board of Directors for the Professional Center for Child Development, a Massachusetts non-profit corporation providing early intervention and therapeutic services to over 1400 children.
Tara is also the author of "Trustworthy: Enlightened Estate Planning," published by New Degree Press in 2020. It takes readers on a journey to adjust their mindset to one of positive autonomy in life, rather than fearful procrastination and avoidance surrounding death. The book provides an overview of trusts, why they are not just for the wealthy, and how the average American family should use trusts in their estate planning.
As a result of these accomplishments and commitments, Tara has been designated as an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. Tara has also received nominations for the "Top Women of Law" award from Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. In addition, Tara is regularly sought out by various media for her expertise and contributes articles focused on estate planning, financial matters, small business issues, and parenting. Tara has been featured and quoted in Forbes, CNBC, Woman's Day, and U.S. News & World Report.
